Through golden light and amber leaves
I dreamed of reflections of a time
Of the future and the past that bind me to earth
Of fantasy that sends me to the heavens and stars
But forever the reflections glisten across my eyes
And remind me of memories never lost
Like stars upon water they mirror the sky
Like silence on a whisper
They mirror my soul
And as the leaves dance across the ripples
I shall dance with the clouds.
